Founded by guitarist El Pradosaure, Muertissima is a Death Metal band hailing from the Paris region. From its early days, the band has asserted a powerful musical signature, blending old-school Death Metal with elements of Black and Thrash in a sonic alchemy that is both effective and brutal.

Influenced by legendary acts such as Morbid Angel, Carcass, Slayer, At the Gates, and Hypocrisy, Muertissima has developed a sharp-edged style, tinged with dark atmospheres and controlled fury. The result: uncompromising metal, raw, hard-hitting, and aimed right where it hurts.

In 2021, the band released their debut album through Music Records, recorded at Lower Tones Place Studio. The response was immediate: Muertissima was praised for its razor-sharp sound and straightforward approach, reviving the roots of Death Metal with a strong personal twist.

In 2022, they took part in the split release Alutiae #1, also on Music Records, alongside extreme bands like Depraved, Noïtatalïd, Massive Charge, and Anthropovore. Two original tracks contributed to this collaborative project, further cementing the band’s place on the French scene.

Since then, Muertissima has been playing shows all over France, with over fifty live dates to their name, sharing the stage with notable acts such as Agressor, Impureza, and No Return. On stage, the band delivers an intense, visceral performance where every riff hits like an explosion.

In 2023, the band began writing their second album, with a clear ambition: to go further, hit harder, and set every stage ablaze.
